Here a brief TL:DR version!<\/h2>\n

On the device enable Developer Options (typically Settings, About, Software information, click multiple times on Build number)
\nIn Settings, Developer Options, set the USB-debugging<\/strong> mode ON<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the PC with ADB.EXE (can be fetches officially here<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Connect cable. Run “ADB devices”, if no output, you got issues with the connection…<\/p>\n

With your favourite app-explorer (I recommend\u00a0 3c All-in-One Toolbox<\/a> and it’s Apps-manager) find the INTERNAL NAME of the app.
\nE.g. the offficial name of Google Search is just “Google”, internally it is<\/p>\n

    com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox<\/em><\/pre>\n
Run (not a typo that the second is A<\/strong>m not P<\/strong>m)<\/p>\n
    ADB shell pm disable-user<\/strong> com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox<\/em>\r\n    ADB shell am force-stop<\/strong>   com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox<\/em>\r\n    ADB shell pm clear      <\/strong>  com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox<\/em><\/pre>\n
(disable it, stop it (yes!!!), and clear it’s data)<\/p>\n
If you want a bit more than disable<\/em>, you can uninstall<\/em> (current user only), run<\/p>\n
    ADB shell pm uninstall -k --user 0<\/strong> com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox<\/em>\r\n<\/pre>\n
(the package is still there though, and can be brought back)<\/p>\n
