Close to the T8 Mini.<\/li>\n<li>The length is slightly less than the T8, <strong>47.7mm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The display is 1.32&#8243;, and the glass disc 39.3mm, so the bezels is 4mm wide, so slightly below <strong>2.9<\/strong>mm bezel-ring under the glass.<\/li>\n<li>One of the mics is placed next to the crown, seems smarter at first but also less protected.<\/li>\n<li>The speaker grill is different.<\/li>\n<li>The arms are slightly longer, Somewhere between the original T8<sub>2022<\/sub> and the later versions of T8. (as expected for same 20mm std band and narrower case).<\/li>\n<li>Weighs <strong>24.95g<\/strong> excluding band, (and 64.49g with metal Milanese band)<\/li>\n<li>The timer uses neither the vibrator nor the speaker. Display only????<\/li>\n<li>At first glance the same features as the T8 Pro (well except &#8216;Stress monitoring&#8217;), and comes with a <em>major version<\/em> newer version of the firmware MOY.FJv3-<strong>3.4.4<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The display is a \u00f8466pixels \u00f81.32&#8243; amoled just like the T8pro. The battery (from FCC photos) is 3.8V 185mAh, like the T8<\/p>\n<p>Found a fumbling unboxing video from some seller <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/abWDmhhEqD0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I found a users guide from Kushang <a href=\"https:\/\/manuals.plus\/kushang\/dw01-sc-smartwatch-manual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Battery<\/h3>\n<p>After wearing it for over three days, and playing a bit, it was down to 90%, so started like a much better stamina than the new T8 Trio, but ended on 2\u00bd weeks though, so clearly better but far from the 6 weeks of the original T8.<\/p>\n<p>Charges pulling about 80mA when roughly 90% filled. So I expect a full charge to 185mAh to take about 2 hours, depending on efficiency and how much it reduces the charging current near the end. And when displaying &#8220;Fully charged&#8221;, it keeps pulling a diminutive charge going down to 1mA (the meter I used, does no go finer)<\/p>\n<p>When charging from empty, it after a few minutes stabilizes at a charging current of 78mA, so expect that to be the same until beyond the 90% mark.<\/p>\n<p>Version 3.4.4 has an odd bug. When the charge goes below 59% (reached after 10\u00bd days), it is stuck at displaying 59%&#8230; Restarting or Power off\/on of the app\/phone\/watch does not change anything. Quite nice. The DW01 is strictly 7.45mm at most of the protrusion, but 7.50mm at the two charging points.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Know bugs<\/h3>\n<p>The MOY software can not show a reasonably continuous battery percentage. It has bloated values, and &#8216;collapses&#8217; quickly when below 50%. (The T8 Trio with earlier version of the software has the same bug)<\/p>\n<p>Also note the two falsely flat segments of the discharge graph (see above)<\/p>\n<p>Version 3.4.4 has a really annoying bug. Sometimes it overnight resets two settings while I&#8217;m asleep.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forces Raise to wake <strong>On<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Forces Continuous Heart Rate monitoring <strong>Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I do not know if it forces other settings, to values I have set already.<\/p>\n<p>It is most likely <em>not<\/em> a bug in the crappy DaFit (=Tha&#8217; Shit) app, as other watches plagued with the same app, does not experience the same, so must be a bug in the MOY software.<\/p>\n<p>As many others it claims to du blood pressure. I <strong>certainly<\/strong> would not trust that! At best it <strong>MIGHT<\/strong> give a trend, that is a raise or fall compared to previous measurements <em>might<\/em> reflect a real trend. It claims <em>my table<\/em> got 125 over 75&#8230;. I think that says it all&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>I have not got a real conclusion yet, but it feels like it is better than the new T8 trio, but in some aspects is better and in others worse than the original T8.<\/p>\n<p>That it function-wise matches the T8 Pro with less bezels. and the case size being right between the T8 Pro and T8 Mini talks in its favour. As does that it is even thinner, though slightly.
