I was really sad when I found out someone had messed up the paperwork. So I expect to pay double tax plus a crooked fee to actually get the watches!!!! An additional
$61!$74 ! AND it will delay the parcel to Tuesday….I really have my hope on high on this one.
Just saw there was a new listing of it on alibaba with an extra image, that says the battery is 135mAh, I adjusted the post accordingly… So with a 27% less battery, I expect it will go ‘down’ to five weeks, despite the optimized chip. We will know in May(!)
Wow, sorry for the delay and extra expense. I’ll wait until it hits Amazon before I make my purchase.
AliExpress is smooth, for private sales, never had any issues with parcels not being custom handled correctly.
AliBaba is clearly intended for wholesale, so they are not good at private sales, as the sellers are not used to customs being paid in advance, and thus not all do the paper-works right… Also the shipping cost is usually high, as they plan to ship larger quanta and if samples ship them faster.

Thank you so much for this review. I really like the size of the mini over the classic T8. It’s a shame it doesn’t use the same QWatch Pro app. I’ve had no issues with the app at all. My T8 always connects to my phone within seconds of powering on, and the Bluetooth range is amazing. My phone can be upstairs in the living room, and I can receive texts on the watch in the basement on the other side of the house (about 100 ft away with walls in between). I wonder if maybe the T8 has a WIFI receiver?
I’m pretty sure it is BT only on both.
And yeah the QWatch Pro is simple, but get the job done.
The most annoying bug in QWP is that pointing out on HeartRate, SpO2 or BP, is misaligned, as it use the DISPLAY not the GRAPH, so you have to move to the edge of the display to point out near 00:00 or 24:00. The bug is NOT there on sleep and steps though…
I reported it back in 2022 but still not fixed…
I never use HR or BP on my smart watches. In fact, I always try to disable them to prolong the battery life on the watch.
…I have a strong suspicion that they get a ‘package’ so the sensors, cpu base firmware and the app are sort of bundled. They can give it their own touch, but it is basically the same,,,, And that it can invent silly readings just like the TN88 that also uses DaFit and a chip with almost the same name “JL7013A” vs “JI7013A6S” make me think that it is basically the same crap, just in a better case with the T8 Mini….The sensor/LED arrangement is clearly more advanced on the T8 Mini though.
