Compact thin smartwatch, KM70, review (early)

Stumpled upon what looks like another interesting cheap compact smart watch with high display coverage.

(latest update 2026-01-16 on battery)

At first glance it looks like a prolonged U17, but it is also slightly wider, and using different chips and apps, so not likely to be related.
It uses the same GloryFitPro app as my current favourite the H06 does, so I hope that is a good sign.

The KM70 is internally called A6.

I got one in the mail 2025-11-07 – but that specimen had a display that was faulty or not connected.
It seemed that all other functions but the display was working though, so not much of a review this far. BUT I got another specimen in the main 2025-12-15, that is working fine!

Dimensions

It is 36.8mm wide. The length is 45.9mm, and the thickness 8.45/10.1mm without/with protrusion, fading to 7.4mm at the ends…

The display is slightly curved, and the watch is 1mm fatter at the centre.

The display is advertised as 410×502 and 1.96″ so that translates to 31.5×38.6 mm, and that is close to the 31.35×38.4 I get with a calliper (that converts to 1.95″) so that means bezels around 2.73 to the sides and 3.75 at top/bottom, that amounts to 71% surface coverage, not quite the advertised 82% coverage, but nice! The glass is 33.1 × 43.0 mm so just 0.88mm bezels to the sides, and 2.3mm at top/bottom, so 85% display coverage off the glass, really nice!! And better than the advertised number!

Surprisingly it uses the wide standard 22mm-pin bands. The 22mm pin band it comes with have slightly conic ends, so the band is 20mm for most of it. Be aware of this, as a standard straight 22mm band might look a bit ‘butch’ on an otherwise compact watch.

Where, who and specs

I ordered the first from here (though a bit over-priced) from a seller calling it KM70. The faulty one has been returned.
I’ve (re)purchased one (from an even more expensive seller here – though slightly).

Found these specs from here that might be the manufacturer

Unexpected feature

On the watch (not from the app) you can enable a “cover lock”, that turns off the screen when you cover the display with your hand. It works, but not sure how, as I can not spot a proximity sensor at the tiny edges, nor can I trigger it by covering the top and/or bottom by a finger or two. My best guess is that the display is actually multi touch, and touches over a wide area triggers it, as it does not kick in if I let a hand hoover millimeters over it. I also tried to cover it with some cardboard, and that does not trigger it either. So that also means that a sleeve or duvet will not trigger it

Compare with others

In many ways it is closer to my current favourite the H06 than the U17, despite looking a lot like just an improved version of the U17. the similarity is not just due to the app, but the software are variants of the same ATS281SWV000323 for this where the Ho6 got ATS365SBV000099

Compare these, H06 on the right arm last:

vs

Note that the display with 1204mm² is 36% larger than the 883mm² of the H06, despite the H06 being slightly longer!! (46.5 vs 45.9mm)
(Though it is 22% smaller than the 1552 mm²  of the huge GX03 sibling to the H06)

Here the KM90 the H06 and KM70 next to each other (all set to lowest brightness, to make the case clearer on the photo:

Note the substantially smaller bezels on especially the KM90 – hence I always use faces with a background that are black towards the edge on the H06, in contrast you CAN use coloured backgrounds with the KM90…

Battery

I unplugged it charged to 100% at 2025-12-30 19:00, at 2026-01-16 18:32 after 17 days it warned that it was down to 20%, with a vibration and message, I do not know if some things are slowed down (e,g, coarser monitoring) to prolong the stamina? The next days will show how it reacts from here. At 2026-01-20 10:00 down at 8%, at 23:00 still at 8%. and 3 weeks have just been passed four hours ago. 20260122 03:40 was the last heart rate reading before it turned itself off, so 22⅓ days.

Buttons

Either of the buttons turns the watch face on from off. A second push on the secondary button enters some workout stuff, and I found no setting to change the mapping to something that for me could be useful.

Conclusion – very early

Plan to revise this review more in the coming days/weeks (have not found the time over the holidays).

But currently the verdict is that it is much like a H06, in a shorter case, but with a substantially larger display. That the display is square will for some (me included) be seen as a drawback, others might see it as a plus, as it clearly makes viewing and scrolling easier.
