The original T8 is being replaced by a new trio of a 7.5% narrower T8 Mini, a T8 and a T8 Pro with speaker and mics for BT-calls.
These are ad renderings images of the T8 Mini and Pro where I scaled the dial by 87% resp. 92% to get the actual display to case ratio(!!), and scaled them too correct relative case size
Like the T8original post, this is likely to be an ongoing project for a while.
Latest updates: 2024-06-29, Release versions (and DA09).

Merely 7.8mm thick (6.9 excluding small protrusion, and down to 4.0mm at the edge), AMOLED with AOD.
By far the most wearable smart watch I’d ever seen!!
ADD 20240405: I got an upcoming narrower T8 Mini. that is part of a trio replacing the original T8, see review here.
UPDATE: I have revised this thread to include the various updates from the over a year I have used it.
Currently at $25 including shipping…. Even better stamina than expected, six weeks! (less nine hours)
(This post is an ongoing project, the last change was 20240409 on 12% different weight between 1.00_24 and 1.00_23 )

In December 2023 (I think) a new thin watch was launched, 9% thicker, 8% wider and with 21% larger display than the T8.
I got it 2024-02-27. The verdict is: Disappointment!

I bought this cheap E600 smart watch out of curiosity of what a breast strap mount can do.
And it is certainly better than I expected for the price, though not without its flaws!
UPDATE: The first unit is broken after just six weeks, refusing to charge!!
UPDATE II The E400 is broken with same failure, bought a E420, and adjusted a bit on that.

Ordered some cheap (<£40) smart watches from AliExpress in the late fall of 2022. and 2023.
First I was surprised that it was even possible to get smart watches in decent sizes, though we do not see them ‘in the west’.
Many, but not all, I bought were crap, here a collage of the crappy ones:

Huawei Watch Fit, is a name easily causing confusion as it is used for numerous different devices: The original (in two variants), and with postfixes “new”, “2” (in three variants) and “mini”. So they do not make it easy…

Xiaomi Smart Band Pro 7 has a larger display in roughly same size case and is MUCH more expensive than Huawei Band 7. Adds a few extra features, and has bad band attachment.

2020-04-29, Some stuff are fixed with newer firmware.

The OralB Io 9s does a really good job, and the idea behind the app is great, connecting stinks though, and the case is trash.

This is an almost perfect combination of an ultrabook and a tablet in 2016. 😀
Well I bought one after all, as it was available including customs and delivery for roughly $400 to Denmark.
The keys ARE tiny, and the device HUGE but I think I might end up finding it a lesser bad compromise that an Iphone+keyboard-case.
For me the most vital app is the Messaging app for handling SMS/MMS. There is a new version, but ALL the basic flaws are still there (see this) and new have been added, along with new features.
ADD: There are bug fix versions too, see below.
The Sony RX100 III is the third of four in the RX100 series of chubby compacts with a 1″ sensor and a fast F1.8-F2.8 lens , and thus great lo-light abilities in a very compact though not easily pocketable unit.

Panasonic Lumix TZ70 (ZS50 in the US)
Upgrade of TZ60 with larger/fewer pixels, RAW and better viewfinder, but removed GPS.
This post is likely to be enhanced/edited over the next days and weeks
Eske Rahn 2015-04-25
The only real competition today is the upcoming HX90V from Sony, that haven’t got RAW, and have pixels as small as the TZ60
The TZ60 took much beating due to the small pixels, And Panasonic answered that by increasing the pixelsize by a factor 150%, and thus reducing the pixelcount by the same to 12MP.
This is an obvious upgrade from Fujifilm F900EXR, that are beaten or on par in all areas, less triffles.
See my review of the F900EXR here. On which this review to some extend will be based.
Practically the whole plus-list could be repeated, and most of the cons are not there!!

I can HIGHLY recommend this Automower 230ACX, as it have exceeded my expectations.
It has handled my highly sloped 1000m² lawn for seven full seasons, with some minor repairs outside the warranty along the way.
This is an almost perfect combination of an ultrabook and a tablet. 😀
The first felling when opened is the feeling of mechanical QUALITY that can handle rough treatment. I have a strong feeling that should I drop it it is more likely to dent my floor…
Review, Fujifilm F900EXR.

Review on CX3 variants CX4, CX5 and CX6 are less trifles identical.
Conclusion:
A really great camera – in 2010, Still fast and with outstanding macro by 2017 (compacts)
…though a bit boxy and thick (almost 3cm thick).
Macro examples: Dust on a dead flies eyes and subpixels from a QFHD (3840×2160) monitor

OVERBLIK
CONS

Excellent light-sensitive camera, but rather slow. (Should be called F51fd)
This camera is almost identical to F50fd. See review on this.
It is primarily a firmware upgrade. Probably (?) with quite the same optics, CCD and IS
Only (real) differences
+ Improved AF (Fixed!)
+ Optional 6Mpixel with less hard compression
+ Slightly bigger screen
? Possibly a little better WB
? Possibly better zoom motor
– Poorer ergonomics, due to larger screen
